Terms and Conditions
Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of €100 or £100 is required when making the booking. The balance is due in cleared funds 6 weeks prior to arrival.
All payments should be made by Card or Paypal payment, UK cheque, UK bank transfer or €uro cheque or transfer (by prior arrangement - please ask for bank account details).
Paying the balance for your course.
The outstanding balance will be required no later than 4 calendar weeks prior to the start date of your booking date, again by Credit Card, €uro or UK cheque, €uro or Sterling bank transfer (by prior arrangement - please ask for bank account details).
PLEASE NOTE: In the event that final balance payment is not made by the due date, your booking will be cancelled and the place re-let. Your deposit will not be refunded.
Cancellations
Should you wish to cancel your booking with us after your payment has been received and banked, please contact us as soon as possible. We will then make every effort to re-let your place for the period of your booking and repay a percentage to you. However, if re-letting is unsuccessful any monies paid cannot be refunded.
Insurance
We advise that you take out travel insurance against the possibility of having to cancel your holiday. I
Arrivals
Guests should try not arrive any earlier than 4pm. If transport arrangements are such that your time of arrival is earlier than this, please contact us with details well in advance, as it might be possible to allow entry prior to this time or at least allow for a luggage drop off. If travel arrangements mean that your arrival will be after 7pm, please advise us as soon as you can.
Departures
Guests must vacate the apartment no later than 10am on their day of departure to enable us to prepare the accommodation for the next arrivals.
Breakages/Damages
On arrival, we will welcome you to the apartment, show you your accommodation, explain how things work, and answer any questions you may have. If you find that any of the appliances are not in working order, you should inform us on the first day of your stay. (All appliances will have been checked prior to your arrival.)
Any breakage or damage in the accommodation should be notified either on the day of departure but preferably on the day of damage/breakage that so that repairs/replacements can be arranged. Damage to equipment should be notified immediately so that repairs can be undertaken or replacement items arranged. Any significant damage must be paid for before departure and should claimed back via your personal insurance; we will issue clients with confirmation of damages for insurance claims.
Well behaved dogs are very welcome when please advise when booking accommodation, but they are expected to clean up after their owners! We ask that pet details are given at the time of booking and that owners respect our furniture and protect bedding and soft furnishings. We want your pets to enjoy their stay too and enjoy the freedom of a home from home, but if there is significant damage or deep cleaning required, replacement items and extra cleaning will be charged for. ‘Scooping’ bags are freely available for use and used bags should tightly closed, and placed in the bin at the top of the drive.
We reserve the right to cancel the holiday up to two months prior to the commencement date. You will be offered the option of either alternative dates or give a full refund.
